The foil thermoforming process involves heating a plastic material, such as PS, PP, PET foil, to a temperature at which it becomes flexible and formable. Then, under the influence of pressure or vacuum, the material is formed around the die or mold, taking its shape. After cooling, the material hardens and retains its shape.
